Restorative Dentist Dr. Thomas L Phillips DDS

Let Fort Worth Restoration Dentist Dr. Thomas Phillips, Jr. restore your mouth to full health and beauty.

Missing, damaged, misshapen and crooked teeth can affect your confidence and quality of life.

Restorative dentistry procedures bring back the health and beauty of teeth by improving structure and function.

We offer many restorative solutions, including:

Composite Fillings

Fillings are one of the most common restorative dental procedures.  Amalgam fillings are preferred for their durability, but they are not the best-looking option.  Tooth-colored or composite resin fillings match the color and appearance of existing teeth, giving you a natural-looking smile. Tooth-colored fillings are also free of mercury.

Crowns/Bridgework

Dental crowns are customized metal, ceramic or porcelain caps that are placed over damaged, decayed or weakened teeth.  A crown restores a tooth’s function and aesthetics.  Dental bridges literally bridge the gap left by a missing tooth.  A bridge is made of two crowns placed over the teeth on either side of the gap and one false tooth in the middle.

Dental Implants

A dental implant is an artificial tooth root.  Usually made of titanium, the dental implant tooth root is covered with an aesthetic crown.  The implant is surgically placed into the jawbone and allowed to fuse with bone.  The prosthodontist installs temporary crowns that are later replaced with permanent ones once healing is complete.

Dentures

Dentures are removable appliances that restore missing teeth.  Partial dentures are for patients with remaining natural teeth, while full dentures are for patients with no teeth left.  Using advanced technology and state-of-the-art materials, your Forth Worth dentist creates beautiful, natural-looking dentures.
